Tonight El Abrazo Milonga hosts a taster class of Argentine Tango for total beginners from 7-8pm. A presentation and demo by teachers Sari & Jeff followed by social dancing from 8.30 - 11pm
Glasgow Tango Studio teachers Sari Lievonen and Jeff Allan will introduce you to dancing the social dance phenomenon that is Argentine Tango.
The class is followed by a 30-minute presentation by professional Tango teachers Sari and Jeff. They will demonstrate some different Tango styles and reveal how this music and dance has come to be enjoyed globally in the 21st century.
After the presentation the evening continues with social dancing in the El Abrazo Milonga, from 8.30-11pm with music from Tango DJ Jeff Allan. Those having taken the taster class are welcome to stay on and observe how tango is danced by experienced dancers in the social context of a milonga.
No previous dance experience is needed to join the Taster Class
