Tango Warwick's Monthly Milonga "La Ideal" in a special May edition to delight us! with live music to dance to by Tango Calor PLUS special guest Mabel Gomez to DJ.
Tango Calor is formed by a very talented group of musicians based in Bristol and the quartet for May 3rd consists of:
Carola Hengstenberg violin,
Daan Temmink piano,
Indira Roman vocals,
Mirek Salmon bandoneon.
It will be a delight to welcome back Mabel Gomez who has been a good friend to Tango Warwick. The pairing of Tango Calor with Mabel Gomez as DJ in the past has proved to be a dynamic dream!
As well as this the special edition will include the usual warm welcome, traditional music, good company, lovely dances waiting to be had, delightful vibes, plus nibbles with some wine for early arrivers---but BYOB if you wish!
Please note the unusual start time of 9pm--but come early so as not to miss anything! Note too the higher price than usual.
£12 / (£8 - students). 9.00 pm to 00.30am (approx).
Warwick SPACE, CV34 4NU, is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick. Next to the Millwright Arms and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. The floor is very nice, the acoustics, great. Parking is plenty around the venue in residential areas but do not park on the pub next door or in Sainsbury’s – people have been known to be fined there! It is a short walk from Warwick railway station. There are several B&B's nearby and hotels etc in Leamington & Warwick.
