The first milonga of the Tango Spa v5 weekend festival. Tango Warwick's anniversary celebration.
Our DJ for the Opening milonga - Anto Cosi
Anto is a passionate DJ that comes from Edinburgh where she is the resident DJ at the Edinburgh Tango Society. She DJs at the Milonga de los Domingos on a weekly basis and coordinates the DJ rota at the Tuesday Milonga.
She is no stranger to Tango Warwick – she opened the Tango Spa v3.o and has been at the Milonga Ideal many times. She plays the best traditional music from the mid thirties to early fifties to critical acclaim.
We could not envisage anyone else better to open the festival and she will be playing on Friday at the Opening milonga @ Warwick SPACE.
The milonga will be preceded by a Welcome Class " Less is more--Small Beautiful Things" given by Jenny &Ricardo Oria , 8.15-9.15 pm
Welcome Class; 8.15 to 9.15 pm
Milonga: 9.30 pm to 1am
Milonga £8 (students £5), Class £10 (5),
Milonga plus class £15 (£10).
Maxi dance pass for all dance events of Tango Spa v5 (20 hours of dancing) £30 in advance.
