Lancaster Clocks Forward Tango Festival

This is an event to celebrate the start of Spring with fabulous tango to great music! We are proud and delighted to bring tango maestros Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki, Johana Cabrera and Lucy Wishart to Lancaster for the first time to share their knowledge and skills with us and to perform at our Milongas. The Festival is open to dancers of all levels. We will be offering workshops specifically for beginners so they can learn the principles and basic steps of tango in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Fri 27th 8pm – Midnight: Milonga with demonstrations by Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki and Johana Cabrera
Sat 28th 11.30am – 5pm: Workshops and Practica with Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki, Johana Cabrera and Lucy Wishart
Sat 28th 8pm – Midnight: Milonga with demonstrations by Guillermo Torrens & Maria Maragaki, Johana Cabrera and Lucy Wishart

The cost of the event is £50 per person. This includes:
Intermediates and improvers: Fri 27th Milonga, Sat 28th two workshops, practica and Milonga
Beginners: Sat 28th three workshops and Milonga

Dancers will be welcome to attend just the Milonga on Fri and/or Sat night. The cost at the door will be £13 per person per night.
