Very excited to be using a brand new venue for this Bank Holiday Monday Milonga Media Luz.
St Nic's Church in the centre of Nottingham (Maid Marian Way) is along the lines of Beeston Parish Church with moveable seats but with a more spacious and modern feel.
It has a great wooden floor and ambient lighting and plenty of space to socialise and chill as well as dance your fishnets off! There will be FIVE HOURS of uninterrupted social dancing to a mostly Golden Age set. I will be DJing and using my own professional sound system.
The other news is - no shifting furniture!
However that comes at a cost so the ticket prices are slightly higher for this one and to keep the costs down I have kept the get in and get out times tight.
As such I could do with one or two people to help set the tables as we only have 30 mins set up time. Free entry to those who can help.
There will be a buffet - not too calorie laden as I would not want to compromise any New Year resolutions! Have not had time to think what yet but think 'post Christmas detox'!
