This workshop continues the series of 'Mastering tango' workshops. Each workshop can be taken independently.
The followers cross (or Cruzada) is one of the most commonly used methods for leaders to change their partners weight in a stylish way, and there are many different ways of leading a follower to cross including the parallel basic, cross-step basic, milonguero cross, and in fact leading a cross from any point in a walk.
This is a one and a half hour workshop introducing all of those types of followers cross, with variations, as well as looking at how a cross can lead into other tango figures.
It is for improvers to intermediate level, and is ideal for couples wishing to expand their technique and musicality for this beautiful, sophisticated and elegant dance.
It takes two to tango, so this workshop will be role balanced (equal leaders and followers) as far as possible. If you don't have a partner, please visit my Facebook Event Page and post a comment to see if anyone is looking for a partner too.
By the end of the workshop my aim is to have you dancing an Argentine Tango, using a variety of cruzada, to a traditional tango tune.
Places are limited (10 people only) so you need to book and pay for your places below to guarantee entry. For full details and booking form click
