The 8th edition of the Edinburgh International Tango Festival will take place on 22nd-25th May 2015. It will offer another wonderful bank holiday weekend of world class artists and many hours of warm and friendly dancing set in a beautiful city. Save the dates now!!

At the heart of the Festival is the Summer Ball, a grand event featuring live music from Sexteto Visceral. Three evening milongas in our traditional hall and relaxed matinée tango cafés will fill your dancing weekend from Friday evening to the small hours of Tuesday morning. Each evening features a show from our guest artists, while talented international DJs will keep your feet moving even after you thought you could dance no more.

You can also enjoy over 20 workshops (from complete beginners right through to master classes) taught by international maestros from Buenos Aires and Edinburgh.

Special for 2015: Dani Vilariño (Buenos Aires) will be giving a special workshop on the art of tango DJing.

Sessions

Workshops from Friday evening until Monday afternoon.
Milongas Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday evenings including Summer Ball with live music from Sexteto Visceral.
Relaxed afternoon tango cafes on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
Note that several venues are used over the course of the Festival, though all are within 2 minutes walk of each other.
