DJ Lorenzo - Neo / Alt
DJ Lisa - TraditionalRevised Description
A blend of tango is planned throughout a longer evening in two consecutive three hour sets.
The second set is from 8.30pm - DJ Lorenzo brings neo/alt/nuevo and a dash of blues.
From 5.30pm to 8.30pm Milonga Media Luz (DJ Lisa) will feature traditional tango music.
Please not that originally planned a 2 room event is not now possible due to a conflicting room booking.
The evening is structured so that the traditional set will drift from earlier tangos to more contemporary orchestras towards the end. The 1st hour of Lorenzo's set will feature contemporary tango and neuevo standards, after which there will be neo / alt / blues. Trad lovers can come early, Alt and neo lovers can be there later and for people who like a bit of both, 6.30pm to 10.30pm will give you half and half.
As it is taking you across 'tea time', there will be some food provided (around 7pm) but feel free to bring your own if you wish. The hall has an oven and a microwave. Tea and coffee also available. Feel free to bring your own alcoholic refreshments.
