    three sequentially themed workshops focussing on fluid free leg technique and exploiting it through the embrace

    14:00 - doors open for a warm up dance and getting settled in.

    16:00 - Rulos to Piernazo - everything is in the air for dramatic ganchos. Chris&Alison
    17:30 - Entrancing Octo Enganches - a thing of beauty that will put your leg technique to the test. Chris&Alison

    Workshop Leaders

    Lorenzo&Ganka - long time itinerant neo tango lovers who have brought the European neo ethos to the East Midlands and been a pivotal part of growing the neo and alt scene through their Creative Tango Nottingham collaboration -teaching, DJing and promoting a new neo approach to tango.

    Chris&Alison from Urban Tango Nights will be leading two of the workshops - they have been gaining a well deserved name for themselves as teachers from the Isle of Wight to Yorkshire, and South Wales to Essex. We are delighted to welcome them back to Nottingham

    **the evening**

    Begins with a buffet after the last workshop and into the evening. We will put out tables and eat communally, making friends and taking the time to rest.
    We then clear up and let the evening dance start at

    19:30 with DJ Chris from Urban Tango Nights and another DJ tba. The music policy is 100% neo / alt.

    Three sequentially themed workshops will take your dancing to the next level. Followed by food and a milonga - neo style.

    Our event will be held at the lovely St Johns church in sunny Nottingham.
    The program is designed to appeal to anyone who loves fluid and dramatic tango.

    ** An Early Bird discount is automatically applied to admission at the checkout until September 11th. **
    We will balance the event with Leader and Followers as much as possible and are offering a discounted price for those booking as a Lead Follow couple.
    Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided through the day.

    **the venue**

    The church has lovely facilities including a fully equipped kitchen. There is private space to change and coat rails. We are upstairs in the hall. When you arrive you will need to come into the church grounds, head for the main entrance and up the stairs. You will find us there.

    **staying over**

    There are three hotels within a few minutes walk; Best Western , Mercure and the Cotswold
    Many more hotels in Nottingham City Centre which is a 10 minute drive or short bus ride.

    **parking**

    There is plentiful free parking on the surrounding residential roads. The carpark next to the children's playground is private so please do not use.
