Neo Alt Workshops and dance - Nottingham

We first did this in October. It was a sell out success with great reviews. Plenty of encouragement to do it again then.

** the day **

Three sequential workshops themed on embrace and soltada will take your dancing to the next level.
14:00 - doors open for a warm up dance and getting settled in.
14:30 - The Berlin embrace and contra mano - how do they do it in Europe, and extending the possibilities to contra mano with some seriously nice moves - Lorenzo & Ganka
16:00 - Breathwork and dynamics - sometimes its the small things that make a big difference. Exploring how to transition embraces and develop depth in the dance. Chris Storey
17:30 - Soltadas - Time to let go, and maybe go a step further - Chris Barnett & Alison
18:30 Home cooked food / buffet
19:15 milonga - neo style with two of the UKs best 100% neo DJs

Our event will be held at the lovely St Johns church in sunny Nottingham.

Solo - everything £45

We will balance the event with Leader and Followers as much as possible and are offering a discounted price for those booking as a Lead Follow couple.
Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided through the day.

the venue

The church has lovely facilities including a fully equipped kitchen. There is private space to change and coat rails. We are upstairs in the hall. When you arrive you will need to come into the church grounds, head for the main entrance and up the stairs. You will find us there.

staying over

There are three hotels within a few minutes walk; Best Western , Mercure and the Cotswold
Many more hotels in Nottingham City Centre which is a 10 minute drive or short bus ride.

parking

There is plentiful free parking on the surrounding residential roads. The carpark next to the children's playground is private so please do not use.

All day passes £45 - £75 (single / couple)
Workshops only £36 - £60 (single / couple)
(All workshop passes include buffet)

Dance only £12 - £22 (single / couple)

Couple means a booking for leader and follower
