Mesopotamia Tango Marathon: A Journey Through Time and Dance
Experience the magic of tango where history begins. We invite you to an unforgettable journey between the two ancient souls of Upper Mesopotamia: Diyarbakır and Mardin.
From the historic city walls of Diyarbakır to the golden, sun-drenched streets of Old Mardin, every step you take will resonate with centuries of culture. This is more than just a marathon; it is an immersion into ancient civilisations, local flavours, and the timeless embrace of tango.
The Highlights of Our Journey:
Diyarbakır (16–18 Sept):
We will arrive at Diyarbakır Airport on September 16th or 17th and check in at Diyarbakır Plaza Hotel.
Wednesday Opening milongas, Friday traditional regional breakfast, and a tour of the Ancient City and Friday Night a local Dinner. 3 Nights Milonga and Friday Afternoon Milonga.
The Transition (19 Sept): A scenic transfer to Mardin, visiting the breathtaking Dara Ancient City along the way.
Mardin (19–20 Sept): Saturday Dinner in a historic Mansion (Konak), afternoon milongas in the mystical atmosphere of the old town, and our grand Sunday Night Closing Milonga. 21st of September we will check-out from hotel and leave from Mardin Airport.
