The Charity - MNDA: Motor Neurone Disease Association. Inspired by our friends, Alan & Nikki, both well known and loved in the local Tango community, are having to deal with the devastating conditions this incurable disease has inflicted on Alan. Whilst there is nothing we can physically do to help their situation, Anna & I have decided to make this a charity fundraiser, with all the proceeds being donated directly to the MNDA charity. http://www.mndassociation.org/
Not only will the entry fee make up the largest part of the donation, there will be a "Preloved" wardrobe of donated Tango clothes and shoes up for sale, and also a cake / bake sale.
This is where we ask for your help! With spring (almost!) on the way, please have a rummage through your wardrobe and shoe boxes and see if there is anything you could donate to the cause for us to sell on the day. We will be accepting any donations at every Watford and Milton Keynes classes between now and then, and also the March edition of Milonga A! If you are unable to make these venues, please drop us a message and we will try and arrange a suitable place to meet up!
