Meta Fierro Tango gives the opportunity to learn the traditional social dance of Tango with the vibrant guidance of Yuri Bellicanta and Kate Miller, who have been studying together for years an authentic style of this form of expression.
Kate and Yuri are champions of the Baltic Open Tango Cup 2018 (tango pista and tango vals, achieving also 2nd place in milonga) and finalists at the Munster Tango Contest 2018 (tango pista and milonga), achieving 3rd place in the category Milonga. Most importantly, they are dedicated social dancers and strong advocates of tango as an improvisational dance.
We organise classes, practice sessions and occasional focused workshops. We aim to cultivate the tango culture in the respect of its history, tradition and social codes. All in a very friendly and relaxed environment. We also offer private tuition and if you wish to find someone to play music for your event, Yuri will happily be your tango dj.
