👉 DJ for most of afternoon will be CLIVE DAVISON 🙌 after a few tandas by Yuri 'Gaucho', Clive will take over with his fantastic set of original 78rpm SHELLAC RECORDINGS 🎵
This is quite a unique opportunity to hear original tango recordings on period 78 rpm shellac discs ('discos de pasta', not vinyl). The very same records that the tangueros would have listened to in BA during the Golden Age of the 30s and 40s.
The collection has taken 10 years to assemble with many records purchased in second hand shops in the San Telmo barrio of BA 🕵️♂️
The few who have experienced Clive in action before, know that this will be an absolute treat 😍 don't miss the chance to dance away and experience all the nostalgia and clarity of sound of those old 'pasta' discs !!
